Promoting the discovery of Jesus... through sports!

We are so excited to offer several seasons of Upward Sports. Throughout the year, we offer soccer, basketball (with cheer) and volleyball! We play indoors (in the air conditioning!) while learning the basics of the game and having a blast. Upward is Christ-centered and does not allow negativity toward the coaches or referees.  There is a devotion at every practice and a testimony at every half of the game. We want to cultivate in each child an understanding of sports and good sportsman-like conduct, but also a better understanding of Jesus and their faith in Him.

FALL SOCCER

Registration is open for our Fall 2025 soccer season!  Ages K5 - 12th grade, $70 per child (discounts available for siblings).
  • Games are played indoors in the air conditioned APLBC gym (with concrete floor). 
  • Evaluation dates:  Saturday, 8/23 (9 AM - 12 PM); Friday, 8/29 (3 - 4 PM); Saturday, 8/30 (9 AM - 12 PM). All players must complete an evaluation in order to play. (Registration ends at 1 PM on Saturday, 8/30.)
  • Practices begin Monday, September 15th (practices are typically held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays - schedule may vary, Pastor Eric or Mr. Adam will send out a finalized practice schedule after evaluations are complete and teams are assigned). 
  • Games begin Saturday, September 27th.
  • Last games and awards are Saturday, November 15th.
